It's been a long time coming. So yesterday, I just went and did it. Next time I will plan it better. I ended up ad lib-ing the entire script, which is not the easiest thing in the world. Part of it was for got reason. I couldn't record in the background, so had to have my adobe audition screen in the foreground, so some of the notes I had written were not quite accessible.

In the middle I had stopped listening to as many podcasts as I used to. Video blogs were something I generally avoided. However, for various reasons this has changed in recent weeks.
Podcasts.
Since I am not an iTunes user, Podcasting was something that had never really worked well for me. Recently though, I have started using pluggd and that has re-ignited my interest in podcasts. Combined with the improved handling of podcasts by feed readers (e.g. Google Reader), I am regularly listening to a number of science, tech and music podcasts. Make for great early morning, late night, or in the car listening.
Video
Video blogs and other video-based content is fairly new in my lexicon. However, the excellence of shows like CommandN, the Scoble Show, and Rocketboom has definitely got me interested. Scoble especially, even though his style is not the best, gets some great guests, making it a must see.
In addition, the recent addition of video to Digg, the release of StumbleVideo, etc is going to make video the media to watch in 2007.
